Buchheim Museum
A special attraction is also a pier that floats 12 meters above the lake and from which you can enjoy a wonderful view on nice days.

Lake Starnberg
Lake Starnberg, also known as “Fürstensee”, is the second largest lake in Upper Bavaria.
Votive chapel
The village of Berg is famous because of the mysterious death of King Ludwig II. A wooden cross standing in the lake in front of the votive chapel reminds us of this until today.
Linderhof Castle
Maximilian II. hunting lodge was initially located where the castle stands today.
Neuschwanstein Castle
Built on a craggy rock, commissioned by King Ludwig II and designed by Christian Jank. It lies in the middle of a picturesque mountain world.
Possenhofen Castle
A museum in honor of Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria, later Empress of Austria. She spent most of her childhood in Possenhofen.
Rose Island
It used to be an unknown island with the name “Wörth Island”. In 1850 King Maximilian II of Bavaria bought the island.
Easter Lakes
The Easter Lakes and the area between them have been a nature reserve since 1981. They include a total of 19 lakes.
Bavarian National Park
It is a park with many traditions and a long history. It originally belonged to the people of Tutzing.
Nymphenburg Palace
The “Great Hall” and the “King Ludwigs I´s Gallery of Beauties” are particularly well-known today. Attached to the castle is also a historic, extensive castle park.
Cycling
A special attraction on nice days is cycling on Lake Starnberg. Everyone can enjoy a wonderful view from there.
